Ystradgynlais AFC Girls U14s beat CPD Drefach in the West Wales Women’s and Girls League Megan Jones Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.

In a fiercely contested match, Ystradgynlais ran out 4-0 winners against a spirited Drefach team to advance to the final.

It is a massive achievement for the team, becoming the first girls side in the south Powys club’s history to reach a cup final.

The final of the competition will be held on Sunday, May 7 at Old Road Welfare Ground, Briton Ferry where Ystradgynlais will face Johnstown for a chance to win the Cup.
