Brecon Boxer Dan Pitt capped off an amazing boxing season with a second UK title win in Sophia Gardens Cardiff on Sunday. He faced the English champion Divine Omojor who was a tall rangey boxer in the final.  It wasn't a great bout as Dan's opponent struggled against Dan's awkward southpaw attack and he resorted to holding at every opportunity. This was penalised at one point but continued throughout the bout.  A clash of heads also caused Dan's nose to bleed for the second half of the bout.

Dan had to dig deep and show strength and composure  to grind out a unanimous win....leading to the gold medal. This brings to an end an extremely successful season for Dan with a third Welsh title, second UK title and 3  international gold medals in European tournaments.
