Trecastle YFC members have taken home a host of medals from this year’s national Tug of War Championships.

On Saturday, July 2 members travelled to compete to Llanidloes at the Heart of Wales 7’s which this year also hosted the Welsh Tug of War Championships.

The group came home with a total of eight medals. The ladies won three golds, the men a gold and a silver and the juniors a gold and a silver.

The dedicated members have trained tirelessly to prepare for the competition and their hard work has definitely paid off.

Special thanks must also be given coaches Lyn and Will for giving up so much of their time for everyone’s benefit.

With the Royal Welsh Show just around the corner where all three teams will represent Brecknock in the YFC finals, there’s little time to rest and training continues.
