Hay Festival Hay-on-Wye 2024 will take place from May 23 - June 2. Launching the best new fiction and non-fiction, while offering insights and debate around significant global issues, the programme sees writers, policy makers, pioneers and innovators take part from around the world, offering big thinking and bold ideas.
Events offer something for all, beginning with the free schools programme, 23–24 May, and including a vibrant strand for families throughout.
Creator of the Wimpy Kid series Jeff Kinney will take part in a very special Festival event on Saturday, May 25. Audiences will be invited to join Jeff on stage and face off in brain-challenging game show-style activities to support their local libraries.
Expect an epically fun event that celebrates Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer and explores the outer limits of the brain! Plus, audiences will be the first to hear about Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hot Mess, publishing this October.
