A free lunch is being provided at The Felin Fach Griffin in Brecon, but there’s a catch.

To be eligible for a free meal at the dining pub, you have to have been born on the 29th of February, and proof is required. The meal is offered as a meal for two only.

With a menu including battered cod with jumbo chips, and pork belly or venison stew, it’s an offer those celebrating a birthday on the leap year won’t want to refuse.

This year sees February have a 29th day, which hasn’t happened since 2020.

If interested, you will need to bring proof that it is your birthday, such as an ID, and it is only eligible on the 29th of February itself.
