A Brecon man has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place and is set to appear in court later this month.

Mateusz Kakolewski, 25, from Brecon, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

An incident took place on Friday, 8 November, where a man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Mateusz Kakolewski, 25, from Brecon, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

“He has been bailed to appear at Merthyr Magistrates Court on Monday 25 November.”
