On Saturday 3 December Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team locate a missing person on Pen-y-Fan.

Working alongside Search and Rescue Dog Association South Wales the person was found, hypothermic but otherwise well. They were helped off the hill to safety.

Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out again on the weekend, on Sunday 4 December and Monday 5 December. The team assisted Dyfed Powys Police with a search for a missing person in Mid Wales. The team also worked alongside Search and Rescue Dog Association South Wales.

A spokesperson for BMRT said: “We would like to say a big thankyou to the farming community who assisted us throughout the search.”
