BRECONSHIRE'S partner county in Germany - Blaubeuren - lies at the foot of the Schwaebisch Alb, a chain of limestone hills north of the Danube in the state of Baden-Wuertemmberg in south west Germany.

The town and county are amazingly similar to Breconshire, with which they have been twinned for more than 30 years.

Blaubeuren Brecknockshire Partnership group held an awareness coffee morning at Brecon Guildhall on Friday, March 24.
