Builth Male Voice Choir has made a generous donation to The Bracken Trust, a cancer support charity based in Llandrindod Wells.
During a rehearsal on Monday, April 3, the choir's chairman, Ian Coldrick, and eecretary, Viv Jones, presented a cheque for £1,200 to Liz Towns and Barry Hicks of The Bracken Trust. The funds were largely raised from the choir's recent St David's Day concert, which was well attended by the local community.
This is not the first time that Builth Male Voice Choir has shown support for The Bracken Trust, which provides invaluable assistance to those affected by cancer in the local area. The choir has previously donated to the charity and is dedicated to supporting its important work.
During the St David's Day concert, The Bracken Trust organized a raffle, which was a great success and raised an additional £487 for the charity's funds.
The donation from Builth Male Voice Choir is a much-needed contribution to The Bracken Trust's ongoing efforts to provide support to cancer patients and their families.
