THE fire service had to free passengers from a vehicle that had come off the A470 near Brecon.

Emergency services were called to a collision involving two people carrier vehicles at the A470 near Felinfach just before midday.

One of the vehicles had left the road and was hanging over the road side ditch. The fire service helped free the passengers from the vehicle.

The A470, which is the main road between Brecon and Builth Wells, remained open.
