The Powys Brecknock Federation WI (PBFWI) hosted a ‘Love Your Heart’ coffee morning at the Guildhall, Brecon, on February 14.

The event was centered around the Love Your Heart campaign, which highlights the impact of climate change on the people, places, and things we all hold dear.

Members took part in a fun climate-themed quiz and tried their luck at guessing the number of hearts in a jar. Recycled and repurposed items were brought along, and the event featured a selection of delicious homemade cakes. Refreshments were enjoyed by all, with raffle prizes adding to the festive atmosphere.

PBFWI invites everyone to join their next event in celebration of International Women’s Day. Dr Sarah Ward Clavier will present a history lecture titled ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ on Friday, March, 14 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at St Mary’s Church. WI members are invited to attend for free, with non-members welcome for £2.

The next coffee morning will be on Friday, March 14, from 10am to 12 midday at the Guildhall, Brecon. Guests are encouraged to attend and see if a meeting is right for them.
