RADIO superstar Chris Evans broadcast his award-winning Breakfast Show live from Hay Festival last week, accompanied by ten celebrity friends.

The Friday, June 3 programme saw the culmination of the children's 500 Words short stories competition with 50 of the finalists eagerly waiting to find out if they were one of two winners from the initial 30,000 entrants.

Celebrity guests including Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton, the One Show's Alex Jones, impressionist John Culshaw, pop star Alexandra Burke, Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond and the Weakest Link's Anne Robinson, turned out to help Evans reveal the eight runners up and two victors.
