Strictly Come Dancing 2022 winner and broadcaster, Hamza Yassin switched on the Christmas lights in Hay-on-Wye.

The town was lit up on Friday (November 25) evening as a packed out memorial square enjoyed performances from school children, and an appearance from Father Christmas before the lights were switched on.

The event was co-hosted by Hay Town Council, Hay Chamber of Commerce and Hay Markets.
