There’s plenty going on at Centre Celf in Llandrindod Wells this summer.

Run by Celf o Gwmpas, the community arts charity, Centre Celf is home to art workshops, exhibitions, venue hire, and much more.

Throughout August, there are music sessions for young people and adults with learning disabilities, run by the charity Music Anywhere.

The centre is also opening its art room for members of the public to use for free. Open studio days are Tuesdays for adults with learning disabilities, Wednesdays for adults and Thursdays for young people and their families. Open from 10am to 3pm, you can spend all day, an hour or anything in between.

On Wednesday, August 21 the summer ‘have-a-go day’ will be held, when you can drop by and have a go at a range of art activities, led by local professional artists. Free lunch and refreshments will be available.

The have-a-go day, open to everyone, offers the chance to try out activities soon to be available as part of Celf o Gwmpas’s new autumn programme of evening classes for adults, made possible with funding from the Powys Regional Partnership Board via the Social Value Forum.

These sessions will join the already popular Clwb Celf, Saturday morning art club for young people.
