Llandovery Cinema is thrilled to kick off 2025 with a special screening of the critically-acclaimed historical drama "Firebrand," on Saturday, January 25, at 7pm.

The evening promises to be a delightful immersion into cinema and community. Doors open at 5:30pm for a potluck-style shared meal. Bring a dish to share and enjoy the chance to meet fellow film enthusiasts! The movie screening will begin at 7pm.

"Firebrand" stars Alicia Vikander as Catherine Parr, the sixth and final wife of King Henry VIII. The film explores the danger and intrigue Catherine faces as she navigates the treacherous waters of the Tudor court.

Selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, "Firebrand" boasts stunning visuals and powerful performances by Alicia Vikander and Jude Law.
