New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Dafarn Newydd (Shop) at Llanwddyn, Oswestry, Shropshire; rated on October 25

• Rated 4: Latte-da Coffee & Kitchen at The Beaufort, Beaufort Street, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on September 21

• Rated 3: Spirit Horse Encampment at Pennant, Llanbrynmair, Powys; rated on September 21

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Ancient Briton at Brecon Road, Penycae, Swansea; rated on October 17

• Rated 4: Dragons Head at Llangenny, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on September 21
