New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Clock Tower Tea Rooms at 24 Broad Street, Knighton, Powys; rated on April 30

• Rated 3: Red Indigo Indian Restaurant at 10 Castle Street, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford; rated on April 3

• Rated 1: Shilam Restaurant & Takeaway at 1 Penrallt Street, Machynlleth, Powys; rated on April 3

Takeaways

And one rating has been handed to a takeaway:

• Rated 5: Ystalyfera Kebab at No 5, Capitol Buildings, Gurnos Road, Ystradgynlais; rated on April 24
