New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Coffee House at 51 High Street, Presteigne, Powys; rated on March 7

• Rated 5: The Old Barn Tea Room at Ystrad Gynwyn, Torpantau, Merthyr Tydfil, Mid Glamorgan; rated on March 7

• Rated 5: The Old Rectory Hotel & Golf Club at Llangattock, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on February 24

• Rated 4: Black Mountain Lodge Restaurant at Black Mountain Lodge, Glasbury, Hereford; rated on February 24

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Farmers Arms at Cwmdu, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on March 10

• Rated 5: Sun Hotel at Llansantffraid-Ym-Mechain, Powys; rated on March 8
