New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 2: Hummingbird at 11 High Street, Newtown, Powys; rated on August 15

• Rated 1: Erwood Station Craft Centre at Llandeilo Graban, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on August 15

• Rated 1: Sylhet Bangladeshi Restaurant at 1 Longbridge Street, Llanidloes, Powys; rated on August 15

It means that of Powys's 413 similar establishments with ratings, 268 (65%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
