New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Charlies Stores at Coed Y Dinas Garden Centre, Newtown Road, Welshpool, Powys; rated on July 1

• Rated 5: Kitchen Garden Ty Mawr at Ty Mawr, Llangasty, Talyllyn, Brecon Powys; rated on June 25

• Rated 5: Spice Lounge at the Oak at The Oak Inn, Guilsfield, Welshpool, Powys; rated on June 25

• Rated 5: Llanfyllin Dolydd Bldg Pres Trust at Y Dolydd, Llanfyllin, Powys; rated on June 20
