New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Hiraeth Llanidloes Ltd at Plynlimon House, 50 Longbridge Street, Llanidloes, Powys; rated on August 30

• Rated 5: Parkers Cafe Bar at 1 Shortbridge Street, Newtown, Powys; rated on August 29

• Rated 5: Honey Cafe Ltd at Bronllys, Brecon, Powys; rated on August 23

• Rated 5: The Crosskeys CIC at High Street, High Street, Llanfyllin, Powys; rated on August 23

• Rated 5: Y Gaer at Old Museum, Glamorgan Street, Brecon, Powys; rated on August 20

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
