New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Granary, at 20-21 Broad Street, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 9.

And Cafe @ The Mill, at Talgarth Mill, The Square, Talgarth, Brecon Powys was given a score of three on January 9.

It means that of Powys's 410 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 285 (70%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
