New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lornas Sandwich Shop, at The Old Post Office, High Street, Presteigne, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 7.

And Bo Country, at 89 The Watton, Brecon, Powys was given a score of two on March 7.

It means that of Powys's 409 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 284 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
