New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Montgomery Fish Bar, at Old Butchers Shop, Broad Street, Montgomery, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 20.

And Baba Alis Kebab House Ltd, at 19 Broad Street, Welshpool, Powys was given a score of one on February 20.

It means that of Powys's 99 takeaways with ratings, 51 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
