A Powys football club has once again fallen victim to vandalism with the latest incident leaving the club with broken chairs that will now have to be removed due to safety concerns.
The latest incident has left Builth Wells Football Club frustrated and disappointed as they work hard to maintain their facilities for the community.
According to the club's social media page, the broken chairs in the stand at the Lant will be removed as they are now considered unsafe and a hazard - but will not be replaced.
The club has also warned those responsible that they have CCTV and are aware of who is causing the damage. They have also said they may contact those responsible if the vandalism continues.
The community has expressed its disappointment and frustration over the incident, with many calling for the culprits to take responsibility for their actions.
The club plays an important role in the community and is a place where people can come together to socialise and support their local team.
The club has expressed concerns that if the vandalism continues, they may lose the facilities all together.
“Please respect our club’s facilities and the community that they serve to ensure we don't lose them,” said the club on social media.
The club had suffered from vandalism as recently as the summer of 2021.
