New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Subway at Applegreen Ss, Salop Road, Welshpool, Powys; rated on October 14

• Rated 5: Triggs at the Mill at Talgarth Mill, The Square, Talgarth, Brecon Powys; rated on October 10

• Rated 5: Spirit of Clyro Cafe at Clyro Village Hall, Clyro, Hereford; rated on October 1

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Cobra Rugby Club at Caereinion Old Boys Rugby Assoc, Cae Cobra, Meifod, Powys; rated on October 12
