Minds in Powys have launched a new information booklet about grieving.
The booklet from the mental health charity explains the nature of grief and suggests things which bereaved people can do to help themselves and their children to cope.
The booklet is available in both English and Welsh either by contacting your local Mind in Powys or by download from: mnpmind.org.uk/bereavement-support-service/
The booklet was put together by the Bereavement Support Service at Minds in Powys.
Bob Smith, Bereavement Supporter, said: “We’re confident that this new booklet will be of real value to you if you have lost a loved one, because it was written by the same people as will support you if you come to us for help.”
Copies of the booklets will also be available via some GP surgeries and libraries across Powys.
The mental health charity will also be running training in Newtown in spring 2025 for supporting bereaved children and young people (open to people with work or voluntary experience of working with them) and a course in Llandrindod for supporting bereaved adults in autumn 2025.
