A children's contact centre based in Brecon is hosting a Child of the Year Awards this summer.

Time Together Contact Centre is now searching for nominations for the inaugural year of the awards, across the following eight categories: Young Carer of the Year; Young Fundraiser of the Year; Young Musician; Young Sporting Person; Young Artist; Young Writer; Bravery Award; and Parent of the Year.

A young person must be aged between 4 - 18 to be eligible for a nomination in the children’s categories.

The details required for the nomination include name, age, contact details of parents, plus the reason for the nomination and accompanying evidence.

Nominations close on Friday, June 28 at 5pm.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday, July 19 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at The Foundry.

The ceremony will be a ticketed event once the nominations are in and they are able to look at confirmed numbers for the event.
