Congratulations to Ioan Joshua Mabbutt from Aberystwyth who won the Mrs Mary Price Perpetual Cup at Trecastle Eisteddfod this year.

The Cup is awarded to the competitor, under 16 years, who shows the greatest potential in the recitation competitions. The literary adjudicator this year was Mrs Ydwena Jones, Brecon. The Cup was presented to Ioan by the Eisteddfod President, Mr Phillip Evans, Trecastle. Ioan is the grandson of Owen and Susan Price, Llanwrtyd.
