On Saturday, October 5, Huntington village is delighted to present The Chase.

The annual 11km course race stands out for its diversity and inclusivity, with participants from various fields, including runners, riders, bikers, and walkers.

Starting at Huntington Village Hall, the route takes you through Gipsy Lane, Hergest Ridge, Gladestry, Stone House Bank, and back to the hall. The day promises a wealth of shared experiences, culminating in a delicious meal of soup and sandwiches at the local Swan Inn.

This local event, a hit with the young and the old, is a fantastic family outing.

Entrants are encouraged to don fancy dress, adding a fun twist to the day.

More importantly, the proceeds from the event go towards supporting a range of charities, including the Jubilee Sailing Trust, Help for Heroes, RNIB, St Michael's Hospice, and local organisations like St Thomas a Becket Church, Huntington, Herefordshire Home Start, RDA, About Face, KLEEN, Kington Youth Hub, and Open Arms Kington.

Over the years, The Chase has raised £10,000 for good causes.

The event kicks off at Huntington Village Hall at midday.

Please note that spots for the Chase are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis.
