I just wish to state how much I enjoyed the Country and Western Show which was staged at The Pavilion, Llandrindod Wells, on Saturday September 14.

Having seen quite a number of professional C and W performers over the years, I thought the seven-strong London-based “Made in Tennessee” group were of a high standard. They certainly played various styles of country music which must have pleased those fans of this type of music, but the more commercial numbers were also present.

There was a very good-sized audience, which must have been so satisfying for The Pavilion management, who had the foresight and confidence to engage this lesser known but excellent class C and W group.

Their performance being part of their 2024 tour which upcoming includes such sizeable towns as Honiton (Devon), Bridgwater (Somerset) and Trowbridge(Wiltshire), as well as the city of Sheffield.

Although I was unable to attend I understand that there was an excellent “Dire Straits” tribute show at the nearby Albert Hall, on the following evening (Sunday).

I feel that the provision of such standard entertainment must only be good news for the local Radnorshire area and beyond, and its inhabitants.

So may I offer my congratulations to the Pavilion and Albert Hall Managements for staging such enjoyable attractions.
