Llandovery Cinema has announced a Valentine’s Day celebration with a special screening of the iconic romantic film Dirty Dancing on Saturday, February 15, followed by an electrifying 80s disco.

The screening will begin at 7pm, with the disco starting after the film at approximately 8.45pm.

Tiago Gambogi, Llandovery Community Activities Support Coordinator, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Dirty Dancing to Llandovery Cinema as our Valentine’s special—a timeless romantic classic that promises to delight.

“After the film, we’ll turn up the energy with an 80s disco! Bring your own drinks and nibbles and join us for a night of fun and a good boogie! Llandovery Cinema is more than just a place to watch films; it’s a space to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.”

Set in the summer of 1963, Dirty Dancing tells the story of 17-year-old Baby, who is swept off her feet by the charismatic dance instructor Johnny at a Catskills resort. Filled with iconic dance sequences, heartfelt romance, and one of the most legendary soundtracks of all time, this timeless classic will have you laughing, crying, and dancing in your seat.

Tickets for the film are £5. For both the film and the disco it is £10. Disco tickets only are £7.

Doors open for the film at 6pm.
