Many old friendships were revived as Llandrindod Wells Grammar School’s Class of ’66 met on Saturday, April 12 for a reunion.
The event, held at the town’s Lakeside Café, marked the former students having a recent or imminent 70th birthday.
More than two-thirds of 70-odd names were located, with around half attending, some accompanied by family members. International journeys were made from Colombia, South America and Paris, while UK attendees’ journeys ranged from Lakeside Avenue to Perth, Scotland.
Following the three-hour reunion, many of the septuagenarians moved on to the town’s hot-spots to continue celebrating late into the night.
The organisers would like to thank the staff of the Lakeside Café for their invaluable help.
