Over the last six months, Brecon Baroque Festival joined forces with Powys People First and The Rhydd for a special music and art project.

The service users worked alongside the Festival's trustee and music therapist, Cornelia Rahdes, to create 32 pieces of art inspired by music.

The pictures will be displayed at The Muse in a special exhibition which opens tonight (Wednesday, October 9).

The exhibition will be open to the public between 10am and 5pm at The Muse on Friday 11, Saturday 12, Sunday 13 and Monday 14 October as part of Brecon Baroque Festival.

Refreshments will be available too.

Commenting on the project, Rosie Mellerick-Wheeler from Powys People First said: "This has been such a lovely project. The art works have been inspired by music - listening to music and playing music together too. It's brought out the budding artists in all our service users.

“We are very proud of the exhibition at The Muse and we encourage everyone to come and take a look."
