Pontfaen YFC is gearing up for its highly anticipated Illuminated Charity Tractor and 4x4 Run this coming Monday, December 23.

The event is set to bring festive cheer and community spirit to Brecon while raising funds for two vital charities - Wales Air Ambulance and Brecon Mountain Rescue.

A yellow weather warning for wind prompted organisers to move the event from Sunday to Monday to prioritise the safety of the public. All details and timings remain the same.

The event will begin at Brecon Livestock Market, thanks to McCartneys.

Judging begins at 3:45pm, with the run then departing at 4:15pm. The public are kindly asked not to attend the livestock market to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Best Tractor - Pontfaen YFC run
This year's top tractor will win £100 vouchers from Wynnstay, judged by ITV Wales' Hannah Thomas (.)

The run will finish at Brecon High School, where Father Christmas will be in the warm, handing out presents to all children. Mulled wine and hot chocolate will be available for purchase to keep everyone warm and festive.

The event will feature a Best Decorated Tractor competition, judged by Hannah Thomas from ITV Wales, with a generous prize of £100 vouchers kindly donated by Wynnstay. Drivers can also compete for the Best Dressed Driver award.
