Actor and presenter Ross Kemp is visiting Crickhowell to promote his book, titled 'Take Nothing for Granted'.
Taking place at the Manor Hotel on Friday, November 2, Ross will speak about his life story. The autobiography has been described as being full of 'fascinating' stories throughout Ross's life. Crickhowell independent bookshop, Book-ish, will be hosting the event, called An Evening with Ross Kemp.
Ross described the book by saying: 'These are the stories of some of the things that have happened to me: the funny things, the scary things, the exciting things; the things that have made me who I am. I don't want to start at the beginning and tell them in chronological order because that's not the way my brain works. And this certainly isn't going to be one of those books of life lessons. I've always been passionate about finding and telling stories. And now, for the first time, here are mine.'
Kemp's most prominent role is that of Grant Mitchell in BBC's Eastenders, but he has since gone on to make documentaries exploring some of the most dangerous places in the world.
Tickets for An Evening with Ross Kemp start at £10. For more information, visit the Book-ish website.
