Crowds lined the streets and cheered in Brecon this evening to see tractors and 4x4s in this year’s illuminated tractor run.

The Pontfaen YFC Illuminated Tractor and 4x4 Run begun at Brecon Livestock Market, after judging took place to decide the best dressed tractor and 4x4.

The convoy left shortly after 6pm and headed to Brynich roundabout.

The community was already in good spirits, but the decked out tractors brought even more fun and festivity to people of all ages who cheered along.

The fleet of vehicles is now following a route through nearby villages and communities, before pulling through Brecon town and then up to Brecon High School car park at around 8.15pm.

The popular event is this year raising money for Wales Air Ambulance and The DPJ Foundation, the mental health farming charity.
