Visiting restrictions at Hereford County Hospital have been lifted by Wye Valley NHS Trust following the reopening of Redbrook ward.
The restrictions were put in place following an outbreak of Norovirus in three wards at the hospital.
The trust said it is still very important that visitors with diarrhoea or vomiting do not visit the hospital until they have been free of symptoms for 48 hours. Visitors are requested to practice good hand hygiene and use the alcohol gels available in all departments.
A spokesperson for Wye Valley NHS Trust said it "wishes to thank all patients and visitors for their understanding during this period and to emphasise that these restrictions were put in place to protect our patients, as part of a zero tolerance approach to healthcare associated infections".
