Brecon native Patryk Bialowas is continuing to make waves in the sports industry with groundbreaking strides in football analytics, at just 19 years old.
As the Head Analyst for Hereford FC and Head of Data Analysis for Gwalia United FC, Patryk is already a prominent figure in football analysis. Together with his business partner Dylan Carpenter, also 19, Patryk has launched Scout Edge Analytics Ltd, a consultancy firm that's aiming to change the landscape of sports analytics.
Scout Edge Analytics has recently announced a new partnership with The Association of Professional Football Analysis and ‘industry big shots’ In-Play Sports. This collaboration aims to foster a more connected and inclusive sports analytics community, addressing the often-criticized "it's who you know" culture in sports.
While other established events offer valuable insights into sports analytics, with tickets often priced at several hundred pounds, Scout Edge Analytics is taking a different approach.
Their events are designed to be more accessible, with ticket prices ranging from just £12.50 to £15.00. This initiative will facilitate networking among coaches, scouts, analysts, and sports management professionals, making high-quality industry meet-ups affordable for all
Patryk and Dylan’s company aims to democratise access to these vital industry connections and knowledge. Their first event promises to bring together like-minded professionals from across South Wales.
Patryk is a former Brecon High School student. His work with Scout Edge Analytics is not only likely to elevate his profile but also provides a platform for other young professionals to break into the industry.
With these initiatives, Patryk and Dylan are hoping to make a lasting impact on sports analytics, ensuring that talent and hard work, rather than just connections, can pave the way to success in the competitive world of sports.
