At a very successful AGM and an enjoyable evening afterwards Cradoc Ladies thanked Janet Hendy for all the hard work, time and energy she has put in during the last two years to lead the Ladies section. 

During her captaincy there have been a number of changes at the club and Janet has been heavily involved with these changes. As she is a very keen gardener Janet was presented with a beautiful shrub as a token of the thanks from the ladies.

At a recen event, her successor, Mrs Andy Black, was inducted as the Ladies Captain for this coming year. This very popular choice of captain comes at a time when the number of ladies playing golf all over the country is declining. However, Cradoc is very fortunate to have Andy who is full of energy and enthusiasm and has many ideas to strengthen the Ladies section. This unanimous choice of captain at the AGM was followed by a delicious meal at the club.

If any lady of any age or ability, with previous experience of golf or no experience and knowledge whatsoever, is looking for one or more of the following - exercise, friendship, laughter to help and/or maintain their physical or mental health - please come and join in.
