The Jack Frost Enduro, hosted by Rhayader MC & LCC, took place despite challenges from recent winter storms that caused damage to forestry land.
With permission from local farmers and landowners, the club was able to secure an alternative route, which included farm tracks and private woodland, allowing the event to go ahead. The enduro also incorporated the first round of the Welsh Enduro Championship.
In the Championship class, Harry Houghton from Wrexham narrowly defeated Llanidloes' Rees Jones by just three seconds to claim victory. Ross Danby from Kidderminster finished in third, with Tomos Wright of Builth coming in fourth.
The Expert class saw locals dominate the podium, with Jack Probert from Llandrindod Wells taking the win ahead of Ryan Rowlands from Rhayader. In the Clubman class, Shaun Richards from Llanelli secured the top spot, with Chad Prosser from Brecon and Charlie Morgan from Llandrindod finishing in second and third respectively.
Rheanna Morgan Rogers won the Ladies Class, while Welshpool’s Jamie Powell continued his successful run in the Over 40s class, finishing ahead of John Shirt from Buxton and Luke Powell from Builth.
Looking ahead, the club is already preparing for the Welsh Youth Hare & Hounds and Welsh Sprint double-header, taking place on April 26 and 27 at their Cwmythig Hill track.
