In a significant show of support for the Armed Forces, two local businesses, Two Dogs Coffee Roasting Company and Jay Jays (Brecon), will be signing the Armed Forces Covenant in the new year.

This important event will take place at the 160th (Welsh) Brigade, Offices’ Mess Headquarters in Brecon. The signing ceremony, which will be supported by the Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association (RFCA), is scheduled to begin at 11am on January 31.

The event will start with an informal, providing an opportunity for attendees to network and discuss the importance of the Covenant before the official signing.

The Armed Forces Covenant represents a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.

By signing this Covenant, Two Dogs Coffee Roasting Company, and Jay Jays (Brecon) are committing to support the Armed Forces community in various ways, including employment opportunities, support for reservists, and community integration.

Tony Fish, representing the RFCA, will be present to support the event and highlight the importance of the Covenant.

The RFCA plays a crucial role in fostering relationships between the Armed Forces and local communities, ensuring that the contributions of service members are recognized and valued.
