Brecon Singers will deliver a sparkling Christmas concert in St Mary's Church, Brecon, next weekend.
Brecon Singers, directed by the inspirational Robert Evans and accompanied by the Chamber Group Rejouissance, will perform 17th and 18th century music.
The festive concert will take place on Saturday (November 30) at 7:30pm.
The vocal soloists in Haydn's 'Little Organ Mass' and the soloists and semi- chorus in Charpentier's 'Midnight Mass for Christmas' are drawn from the choir, which has been going from strength to strength in recent years.
Rejouissance is the Period Ensemble in Residence at the prestigious national conservatoire, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and is directed by Simon Jones. The musicians will accompany the singers and in addition will perform Purcell's Abdelazer Suite.
The choir looks forward to an enthusiastic audience of music lovers joining them in St Mary's Church in celebration of this festive season.
Tickets for this concert cost £15. Under 18s cost just £5. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Brecon Pet and Garden Centre and Brecon Books - or alternatively bought on the door.
If you love to sing and can commit to weekly rehearsals, feel free to come along to St Mary's Church on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. The choir will make you most welcome!
