This year’s Llanyre Show will take place in the village on Saturday, August 3.
The gates will open at 2pm with admission prices at £3 for adults and just 50p for children.
The event will be opened by former High Sheriff of Powys, Reg Cawthorne, at 2:30pm.
The popular event, with refreshments on site, promises to be a full afternoon of fun for all the family.
Try your luck at the new sideshow games and visit the many other stalls and attractions on offer.
Special attractions include Esme Fitness, Funny Faces Face Painting and Supa Strikers - Football Skills.
Entertainment will also come in the form of a brass band, craft tent competitions, needlework and craft, art, horticulture, cookery, country skills and crafts, agriculture, photography and more.
There will also be children’s competitions, a dog show, and sports - including children’s and senior events.
The show committee is also organising a ‘Best Garden’ competition, open to all gardens in Llanyre. The event is kindly sponsored by Midway Nurseries of Penybont, and Dave Holt of the nurseries will be the garden judge. The front, back garden - or both - can be entered. Entry forms should reach the show chairman, Duncan Thomas (2, Cortay Park, Llanyre) by July 20.
To support the show, donations of cakes (large or small) for the refreshment tent would be very welcome.
