Army Road Runners and soldiers based at Brecon Barracks will be taking part in the Y Promenad parkrun on February 22.
This event is for everyone, from seasoned runners to casual joggers and those who enjoy a leisurely stroll. The focus is on participation, connection and fostering a sense of belonging within our community.
After the parkrun, enjoy a complimentary coffee and chat with fellow participants and Army personnel.
Warrant Officer Class Two Ben Brookman, based at 160th (Welsh) Brigade, said: “This is a great opportunity to share stories, make new friends, and build lasting connections. Our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere where families can bond, friends can reconnect and the community can come together to promote health and well-being.
“The British Army is committed to supporting local initiatives that enhance the quality of life for everyone. This event is more than just a run: It’s a celebration of our shared values, commitment to health and community strength.”
