The annual St David’s Day Coffee Morning, held at the Llanwrtyd Heritage and Arts Centre, proved to be a resounding success, bringing together locals to celebrate the patron saint of Wales in style.
The event, which took place on a beautiful, sunny spring morning, was well attended by the community, making it a truly special occasion.
Susan Price kicked off the morning by warmly welcoming all attendees and expressing her gratitude for their continued support of the Heritage Centre. The event was a vibrant showcase of local talent, with Mrs Heather Davis, Mrs.Enfys Davies, and a group of local children taking centre stage. They delighted the audience with bilingual readings and performances of beloved Welsh songs, which were warmly received by everyone present.

Val Ellis, Peri Emirali, and Cheryl Rickard served as door stewards, while Pat Jones and Wendy Chamberlain offered a tempting selection of cakes for sale. Tea, coffee, and traditional Welsh cakes were served by Lynne Brookes, Sarah Jones, and Georgie Perrett, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Raffle tickets were sold by Lynne Ball and Susan Price, and the event saw several lucky winners, including Trish Campbell, Ken Jones, Pam Barlow, Dorothy Billam, Janet Croucher, Lynne Jones, Sian Watkins, Peri Emirali, Freda James, Thea Pine, Brian Prichard, Leighton Campbell, and Georgie Perrett, who took home various prizes.
