Brecon Motor Club members were very busy again last weekend running the Fairfield Motor Company Epynt Hillclimb.
Held annually on the infamous military ranges the event runs over two days and this year experienced the best and worst of Welsh weather.
Saturday dawned with torrential downpours and that set the scene for the day with brief glimpses of hope in between.
With a great mix of cars entered everyone still enjoyed their day and event sponsor John Morgan was especially pleased as he entered two cars and took a class win with his historic Ford Escort RS1800 and fastest time of the day with his extremely rapid Westfield.
Sunday was a much better day weather-wise and it was Morgan again who took the accolades with a time of 47.49 - nearly three seconds faster than the previous day in the rain.
Local interest was provided by Len Milner who turned out in his stunning Audi S2 Quattro which not only looked but sounded fantastic as well.
The event was very well received and Brecon Motor Club was well represented with a large team of local marshals assisting on the start line and in the paddock.
