The Brecon Town Concert Band is set to present a Bond-themed Last Night of the Proms, including James Bond movie soundtracks from the very first film to recent favourites on Saturday, October 26, at Theatr Brycheiniog.

The evening will also feature Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory, British Sea Songs, as well as renowned concert pianist Catherine Nardiello and Penelope George, winner of the Young Singer of the Year Award, Brecon Choir Festival, who will sing Rule Britannia.

The audience is encouraged to dress as their favourite Bond hero or villain – band members will also be dressing up. The concert will begin at 7pm. Tickets are £15/£10 concessions.

Dave Jones, Musical Director of the Brecon Town Concert band said: “This is a concert for the whole family to enjoy.”

Earlier in the afternoon at 2pm, Brecon Town Concert Band will be hosting a free concert for children of all ages. The programme will include much-loved Disney favourites - including Aladdin, Moana, and Beauty and the Beast - followed by Peter and The Wolf with live narration and a short recital by renowned concert pianist Catherine Nardiello.

Following the programme, children will be invited to come on stage and try out some of the instruments for themselves. Tickets are free but must be booked on the Theatr Brycheiniog website.
