Builth Wells Probus Club recently held their annual indoor bowls competition in Erwood Market Hall, for members, wives and guests.

The winner, pictured centre left, was Ann Lewis, who was presented with the Pugh Shield by Jean Pryce. The event was followed by a splendid lunch at the Wheelwright Inn.

Probus is a club for retired and semi-retired men, who meet at 10.30am until midday on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Builth Wells Golf Club, with a varied programme of discussions and presentations by guest speakers, which last year ranged from a Local Artist to a Motorcycle Historian.
