A LLANDRINDOD Wells teenager has gained her first cap for representing her country in a bowls international.
Although only 16 years of age Angharad Edwards was selected to play in the Ladies under 25 years Indoor International competition team in Belfast as a member of the Welsh Junior team.
Angharad, who lives at Montpellier Court in Llandrindod Wells is a student at the Builth Wells campus of Ysgol Calon Cymru and was selected during bowls trials at Merthyr Tydfil.
She plays for the Radnorshire Indoor Bowls Association and has been playing bowls for about five years.
